TERMS & CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions govern your use of this europeansarmysurplus.co.uk website. Please read through the Terms. If you do not agree with the Terms, do not use this Website. If you do use the Website, your conduct indicates that you agree to be bound by the Terms.

PRICING

All prices listed are in GBP and exclude VAT. All items are subject to availability at the time of ordering. As this website is trade, there is a minimum order value of £250 (excl VAT & delivery)

ORDERS

We can often process orders on the same day for next day delivery to you – The earlier in the day the order is placed the more likely we can achieve that target. We especially welcome web orders – You can place your order 24/7 on-line at www.europeanarmysurplus.co.uk. There is a facility to add to your web-ordering basket over a period of time prior to submitting the order so you don’t forget your key items. Please note we do not transact payments on line to ensure you are fully informed about grade, quantity, availability etc prior to confirming your order.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS

We publish an index on our website to explain our product codes. See http://www.europeanarmysurplus.co.uk/ItemCode_Description.html. We use a civilian mechanism with official international abbreviations wherever possible to ensure both our organizations & your staff can differentiate items from one another.

AVAILABILITY

Please note all items offered for sale are without engagement & subject to change without notification. All goods offered are subject to them not being sold in the meantime. We reserve the right to amend pricing at any time. Please note that any printed material is only valid at the point of publication – To keep abreast of latest availability & pricing our web catalogue is the most up to date reference source.

PAYMENT TERMS

All goods offered are subject to cleared funds in advance. We welcome payment by debit/credit card so you can get the credit you may require or by BACS transfer to ensure payment traceability. Personal callers may pay by cheque / cash – Please do not send cash by post.
Where funds fail to clear we reserve the right to charge a fee equivalent to 5% above the current base rate. Any debts that remain unpaid will incur additional charges for every 30 days that the account remains unpaid. Unless otherwise agreed, our payment terms for approved account customers are strictly on receipt of goods.
Title of Goods: Please note title does not pass until such time as funds for the goods have been cleared & the goods presented for collection.

CARRIAGE

UK Mainland orders are typically dispatched for next day delivery (Northern Ireland & Islands 48 Hours). Please inform us if you do not receive goods on the anticipated day – However, we accept no financial liability for goods not arriving next day without surcharges to guarantee the delivery. We can arrange Saturday or timed deliveries for a supplementary charge.
Standard priced orders for delivery to UK mainland which exceed £750 (excl VAT) are delivered free of charge. Deliveries outside UK mainland and certain other non-textile items will incur a delivery charge. For orders under £300 there is a minimal delivery charge that reflects the costs we are charged. We reserve the right to increase this cost for unusually heavy or bulky items. We will inform you prior to processing your order if this will be the case.

SHORTAGES

Claims for shortages/damages must be advised within 2 working days of delivery being received & notified in writing. Damaged packaging materials / goods should be noted when signing for receipt of goods.

RETURNS

Any returns must be authorised prior to despatch to us. No part returns will be accepted. A re-stocking charge will be applied on all authorised returns.

RISK/TITLE

Risk of goods sold passes to the buyer on delivery however title / beneficial ownership shall remain with us until full, cleared payment has been received. In the event of resale prior to full payment being received our beneficial entitlement shall attach to the proceeds of the resale.

OVERDUE ACCOUNTS

We reserve the right to implement a surcharge equivalent to 5% over HSBC current rate, to any invoice outstanding more than 30 days from the stated due date.

GUARANTEES

All goods sold which are classed as 'surplus goods' are usually pre-used and no guarantee / warranty is given or implied with regard to any specific item.

THE SALE OF KNIVES

It is an offence for any person under the age of 16 years to purchase most kinds of knives. We shall only supply knives and related equipment to customers over the age of 16 years. The sale of knives is regulated by Laws and subject to our terms and conditions of sale. We reserve the right to refuse the sale if we have reasonable cause to believe that the prospective customer is below the age of 16 years, or if we believe that the supply of goods to the prospective customer may infringe the Law or present an unacceptable potential risk to the safety of others.
Our main goal is to promote the safe use of specialist tools and for this reason we always take steps to ensure that our knives and tools are promoted in a responsible manner.

EXPLANATION OF GRADING

NEW - Never issued; May still be in original packaging / import goods.
UNISSUED - Appears unused; may have some storage wear.
GRADE 1 - Fully functional & immediately serviceable, may show signs of wear, but no visible functional defects.
GRADE 2 - Still functional but may need some repair. Probably shows wear, and/or discoloration.
ANTIQUE – Some collectable / vintage items may require elements of restoration (e.g. Rust).
